Terms & Conditions


A booking shall be secure only once Makeup By Liv is in receipt of the client’s deposit, there shall be no provisional bookings.

Trials take place at in the client’s home; please make Makeup By Liv aware at the time of booking if this is not possible so alternative arrangements can be made.


The person making the booking shall be held responsible for full and final settlement of the total amount payable to Makeup By Liv.

There is a 14 day ‘cooling off period’ at the time of booking, in line with the UK distance selling rules outlined in the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Any and all deposits received by Makeup By Liv at the time of booking are non-refundable following the 14 day ‘cooling off period’.

Any outstanding balance payable in relation to a booking shall be paid to Makeup By Liv no later than the date outlined on the client’s invoice at the time of booking.

Parking + Travel Charges

Travel is charged at 45p per mile charge for a round trip from Makeup By Liv’s home address, for both the trial and wedding day.

Please contact Makeup By Liv prior to booking if there is limited parking at your location, due to the amount of heavy equipment brought along. If Makeup By Liv has not been made aware of this, she will not be held responsible for delays this could cause.


All booking with Makeup By Liv shall be confirmed in written form, by e-mail.

It is the clients responsibly to make Makeup By Liv aware of any known allergies or skin sensitivities that they or their bridal party may have prior to service.

Makeup By Liv cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition.

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure all members of the bridal party are available at their, pre-arranged, allocated times.  No refund or compensation will be offered by Makeup By Liv for delays caused by other wedding vendors, guests, or members of the bridal party.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of Makeup By Liv including but not limited to weather conditions, global pandemics or health and safety reasons, where possible Makeup By Liv will endeavour to rectify such situations, or rearrange your booking for an alternative date. However, deposits cannot be refunded by Makeup By Liv. It is strongly advised that you the client take out wedding or event insurance to cover you against these situations.


The client agrees that Makeup By Liv may use any photography for publicity purposes which include the artist’s website and social media pages.

Makeup By Liv will not post photography before the clients wedding has started to avoid spoiling any surprises for guests of the event.

Any objections should be made in writing to enquiries@makeupbylivgs.com.


Makeup By Liv reserves the right to refuse service to the client or members of the bridal party for, but not limited to, infectious conditions or abusive, rude and unreasonable behaviour.


If you decide to postpone your wedding to a future date, Makeup By Liv will endeavour to transfer the booking across to the new date, subject to Liv’s availability. Should Makeup By Liv already have an existing secured booking on such date, no refunds or compensation can be offered.

Force Majeure

Should failure of either party to perform its obligations under this Agreement, Makeup By Liv shall not subject to claims of any such losses and reserves the right to retain the deposit.


Makeup By Liv take’s your privacy seriously and are fully GDPR compliant.  You have provided Makeup By Liv with your contact details so that Liv can correspond with you about your wedding makeup as agreed. Makeup By Liv will only use your personal information to administer your booking and to provide the services you have requested from Makeup By Liv. Makeup By Liv will not pass on or sell your details to any other organisation.

Acceptance of terms and conditions

Payment of any deposit to Makeup By Liv indicates acceptance of the terms and conditions set out above.
